How to get (emoji) emoticons in clash of clans
This guide is for Apple iPad and Apple iPhone
We all know one of the biggest Apps out there on Apple and Android devices is Clash of Clans. It’s been around for a good few years now and from very humble beginnings you now see Clash of Clans advert on a regular basis. One of the features that really does keep people playing is the lightning fast chat facility and the clan features where friends can join a 50 player mini group community called a clan and battle other clans in clans leagues and clan wars.
Several occasions I’ve been asked how to get emoticons (smiley icons) working in Clash of Clans chat on Apple devices, luckily its quite a simple process. The emoticons are basically an additional keyboard called emoji. once added you can use these icons in Clash chat or on other apps too. Here is a simple step by step on how to get it working.
Step 1 – Open iPhone/iPad Settings
Step 2 – General Settings -> Keyboard option
Select the general settings from the left hand side menu and then the ‘Keyboard’ option from the main settings window
Step 3 – Select Keyboard Option
you should now have a ‘keyboards’ option this is where we are going to see all the installed keyboards
Step 4 – Add A New Keyboard
Select the ‘Add New Keyboard’ option
Step 5 – Add Emoji Keyboard
Select the ‘Emoji’ keyboard option
Complete!
Your Emoji emoticons are ready to use, just select the globe icon from the bottom of the keyboard (by the space bar) to flip to your emoji keyboard.
And here are some of the icons that are available, there are a few pages of different icons, notice the dots above the keyboard (top/center) which should you which page of icons you are currently on.
